Week 10

Well here it is, we made it to the end! The topic this week was what advice would I give to someone writitng a research paper? You can never start too soon. It takes a lot of preperation and hard work. I would suggest numerous hours per paragraph be expected. This course was very challenging for me, but I am glad I stuck it out and finished strong. Week 9

First of all I noticed that most of my blog posts start with the word wow. That is just plain annoying to me. So this week I started with a new word. Now that I passed that part, Wow it's week 9! The question this week was, how do I feel about the paper I'm writing and do I feel any different about writing after taking this course? Well, I feel anxious and nervous about the paper and I wish there was some way to get out of it. As far as how I feel about writing, I would rather give a speech about something I know nothing about than write a two page paper. I know that sounds ridiculous but I really do not enjoy writing or being critiqued on it. Hopefully it goes smooth and at 36 years old, maybe just maybe this will be my last writing class. Week 8

Wow week 8! Its almost here. Papers are due in both classes and the stress is being felt in my corner. I feel like if I make it through the next 3 weeks of my life I can resume normal day to day stuff. I am going to a concert tonight which should help relieve some stress. Really looking forward to getting out and hearing some music. I think music can revive your soul. First I have to shake the feeling that I should skip it and stay home to write these papers. Blah! They will be here when I get home. Have a great weekend everyone and try to do something fun!

Week 7

Wow this term feels like it has taken much longer than the last few. On one hand it's almost over but on the other hand it feels like it will never end. We are doing peer reviews this week and I am ok with the idea, not excited but ok. I know I have a lot of work to do still but I have almost 3 weeks so I really had not planned on sharing it just yet. I guess if that is the assignment, then that is what will happen. The kids are getting restless about summer coming on. They are excited about moving into our new house and getting out of school. I wish we had a three month break from work and school. Must be nice to be a kid!
